Upon graduation from the Department of Automatic Control at Beijing Institute of Technology in 1990, Jun Han was employed by the Institute of Automation of HLJ Provincial Academy of Science. After having worked there for 5 years as an engineer, he was promoted to be head of the Department of Product Development. In 1996, he took up the post of vice general manager and chief engineer of Harbin Huajie Electronic Company. He commenced his study as a research student at Bond University in Australia in 1999 and was awarded the degree of PhD in 2003. He is now an associate professor in School of Computer Science, Beihang University, Beijing, China.
