ACT (The Institute of Advanced Computing Technology),Founded
in 1999,is a center for research and education at the
graduate levels, which focuses on advanced computer
technology both in theories and applications.Up to September 2004, the total number of the staff reaches 115. This team consists of 12 faculty (4 professors, 3 associate professors), 42 resident PhD students (14 newly enrolled in 2004), 86 graduate students (33 newly enrolled in 2004). ACT now includes three departments: Main Center, Embedded System Research Center and Patent Develop Center.
The main research direction of the institute includes:
network and infomation securities: including formalizing analyses of security protocols,distributed access control,invading inspect system,etc.
software system structure
and computing environment in Internet:including XML
processing techniques,Web services and WebSASE,software
platform service grid and its supporting environment
that supports ASP mode.
embedding system.
e-government,e-commerce,finance science and technology.
